Did you do any bios updates? The 2200 error is a serial and type mismatch. However to get the diskette, you have to be IBM/Lenovo Partner or service center.

Some people say, that the bootable PC Doctor CD (Which is available for free on Lenovo's site) can make a diskette, but I don't think that's possible, but search for PC Doctor x200T and PC Doctor X201T and that will lead you to the ISO images.if you're going to chg the cards, get the Intel Ultimate with the 3 ant and dual band N (a/b/g/n 2.4 and 5Ghz) most future proof and fastest speeds. Click to expand.yes, though for the life of me, I don't know which one you would use, try updating the eepron with the existing list of serial numbers as if the mb was so damaged you couldn't retrieve it. The 'how to' is in the Hardware manual at page 80.It's possible that the 201 disk it would reject the old four digit as it wouldn't be a 201 number, and the 200 disk would reject the mb for being a 201 model.You put a i7 in? Try 7449-CTO which is a i7 that's Custom To Order.In theory if you have the maintenance diskette you could put in anything you just have to update the eepron. There used to be a BIOS patch too.
It may be moot if you can get the 2200 to go away with the disks.
